Zone Training Meeting and Referral Miracle

This week we had our zone training meeting. This is one of the biggest modes of influence as a leader. We started out the day with doing the "Step across the line if..." game that we used to do in student government in order to build trust, unity and awareness. Then we had a discussion as a zone of what we think we can accomplish in the upcoming months.

Goals aren't just about choosing your rewards you want to enjoy, but also the costs you are willing to pay. Goals determine your direction. Your boat will never get anywhere if you have your oars but you never paddle. You have to have a focus or end goal in your mind at all times or else you will be running aimlessly every which way.

So we come up with a cool way to hype up our goals! We have decided to send #hashtags every time we extend a baptism date to people. It's been pretty fun and it's working!

Miracle of the week: This has been a spiritual week for Elder Cacayuran and myself. The spirit has been so strong as we have taught some of our new friends. We have felt guided in our words and in thoughts that have come to our mind. Here is one example. We were trying to contact a referral that we received. We could not contact the number so we went straight to the house. On our way there, we heard a woman yell, "Elders!" We went over and that happened to be the lady we were trying to contact. We scheduled an appointment the next day on our P-day since that was her only availability. She has been taught for months by missionaries and now is ready for some change. She has real concerns and is so humble and genuine with every lesson. She has had questions that I have not had to handle my entire mission which has been a new challenge. I had no idea at first what to say, but I felt God put words into my mouth and what I said actually ended up resolving some concerns! She ended up going to church and brought her entire family. We are excited to see her progress.

We are just loving it out here! Have a great week!
