First Zone Conference Workshop!

Hey there! We had a temple P-day today so we got to enter into the Manila Temple. It has felt like so long since we were able to go. It has been about ten months. If you have not gone to the temple in a while, I challenge you today to go. It is a feeling that you will get no where else in the world. However, due to crazy traffic we have very little time for emailing because we have no food in the house so we have to go shopping... haha.

Zone Conference: I gave my first workshop at zone conference! I was pretty nervous to speak to a large group of missionaries and the office missionaries and the mission president. However when we got up there, the spirit took us away and it was amazing. There were definitely things that I wanted to say that I forgot, and I added things at the last minute that we did not plan for, but that was just God directing our course. We learned so much from the other workshops as well. I love learning and I am working on being able to increase my intake of information in order to increase my success. 

Our first couple weeks here in the Batasan Hills ward has been amazing. This area has not had a baptism in about four months, but now we are planning on having weekly baptisms for much of September starting last week. We pray to God that He will direct us to the people that are ready to accept the gospel.

We also had MTC exchanges this week. We got to take some brand new missionaries out preaching the gospel for the first time ever. I did not even realize how much I have grown since the MTC until I went on this exchange. My companion was so brave to try and talk to people, even with limited Tagalog skills. He is going places!
