Caving!

I feel like I learn so much every day. My head is on overload but somehow I always have such a great thirst for knowledge. A thirst to learn more about Jesus Christ, a thirst to learn more about the people I converse with, a thirst to learn Tagalog. With all these desires sometimes it is hard to figure out exactly what to focus on at that specific time. I have learned that proper planning is key to success. The days when I have planned out as much as I can are the most productive and efficient days.

This really hit me this week when we went on exchanges with the Zone Leaders. Elder Alcala and Elder Bulanon are amazing examples for me. Elder Alcala really pushed me to take the lead on all our lessons and we worked so well together. Unity with your companion is key! One thing we did to work on our unity was called "Fan Teaching." For our practice teaching whenever the fan would move to the right Elder Alcala would teach, and when it moved to the left I would teach even if we were in mid sentence. It was a great experience!

For P-day today we had a zone activity! Our zone went to this cave and it was so much fun. Our zone is so close already and I love them all. The cave was gorgeous and it gave me that adventure that I desire. We also saw some monkeys for the first time! They were just jumping from tree to tree.

That is about all I have time for today. Make every day special because our time here is precious. I know that as we dedicate our time to coming closer to Christ we will find true joy in life. I know that this gospel is for everyone no matter where you are in life! The joy that I feel every day as a missionary is incomparable.

Have a safe week!
