Another Amazing Week!

My time is very limited today because there was a problem with the computer I was using. At first I could not use the letter "b" on the keyboard. Then all the letters on the bottom row stopped working. I tried responding to some emails with only the top two rows but that was a little too challenging for me! Finally the computer shop guy allowed me to switch computers but it took a long time for the other computer to boot up. So sorry this email will be brief, and sorry if I did not respond to an personal emails that were sent to me!

This week was another amazing week on the mission. We are starting to have some progress with the investigators and I am feeling the spirit more and more guiding the work. I am so glad for the opportunity to be here as a representative of Jesus Christ. I do not take that calling lightly. I am working to improve myself every day to align my will with the will of God.

Some very interesting experience that happened this week was that for some community service we helped... prepare... the chickens so that they would become a delicious meal for others. Honestly I was slightly terrified. I am not one who enjoys taking the life of an animal and this was no exception. However I did it. I won't explain the exact process but I got to do every part, even up to the gutting the chicken. Experience of a lifetime. Also I climbed a coconut tree barefoot and got my own coconut! I feel so exotic haha!

Anyways this week I have really seen the importance of communication. We always need to do our best to communicate with those we love. Especially as a missionary I need to communcate to my companion as much as possible to build our unity for the spirit. Also communication with God through prayer has brought me the most spiritual experiences in my life. God cares about every single one of you. He wants to hear from you. Take the time to tell Him everything in your life.
