Pokemon is of the Devil?

-Another successful week here in the great city of Caloocan! One of the highlights of the week was our zone conference where I received a lot of inspiration and personal revelation. I also got to see many old district and zone mates. The Spirit is vital in the work. I have gained a added desire to do whatever it takes to have the spirit with me. I know that if we strive to be obedient, repent daily, and rely on the Atonement of our Savior, we can have the guidance of the Holy Ghost always. The Holy Ghost brings such an amazing peace into my life!

-Friday was May the Fourth which is a huge holiday for all Star Wars lovers. So all you out there that desire to be a Jedi, may the force be with you! Elder Frandsen is a huge star wars nerd so he gave me a full run down of everything one would ever need to know about the Star Wars Universe.

-A new investigator that we found this week asked us if we believed that Pokemon and Dora was of the devil. If you know me, you know my passion for Pokemon, so I told him with certainty that POKEMON IS NOT OF THE DEVIL! Though he kept insisting that it was. We did our best to move on from the subject so we did not have to have a debate on why Pokemon brings happiness and joy to people all around the world.

-It is election time here in the Philippines and there are tons of parades and campaigns. Our whole house has decided that if we could vote for anyone we would vote for Judy Ignacio because her campain is literally the best. She hired someone to make some very great quality parody songs of popular Tagalog songs and they have someone ride around the block constantly blasting the music. I often find her songs stuck in my head and have to push it out of my head by singing a hymn.. haha!

-One of our investigators just accepted a baptismal date! She has really come to love the Book of Mormon and found that it is truly the word of God! If anyone ever has doubts or questions, just read the Book of Mormon and all the answers are there! :)
