Baptizing my Relative (...kinda..)

So as you may know, I have quite a few relatives that live in my area right now. I have been working hard trying to build relationships with them and help them to see the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I thought my purpose here was to baptize one of my cousins, I have not had too much success yet.

We have been teaching this teenager Vanrey and his cousin Queenie. One night while leaving their house, their aunt come from the other house and asked me if I was Elder Cadayong. I told her that I was and asked her why. She said that she read my name that was written in Vanrey's Book of Mormon and said that she knew my family. Then she asked me how I was related to Maylene Cadayong, and I did not really know since I have never met her before. But I found out that she is my cousin, the daughter of my Uncle Baltazar. Then after many questions in order to track our family tree, we found out that Queenie is the younger sister of Maylene Cadayong's husband and Vanrey and Queenie are cousins! Yeah that is pretty far related.. but hey pretty exciting. God is preparing people to accept the gospel every single day. Their baptism went very well and I know these will become the future missionaries of the world.

We also had another MTC exchange where I could see my teacher in the MTC. These exchanges are always a great time to evaluate on how much I have changed in the mission. And I know that changes will still be coming.
