April Fools!

Transfers! So I am transferred to the Denver South Mission! Just joking with ya, that was just a random dream that I had the other night. Elder Lucana and I are staying here for the next transfer which I am so happy about. At first Elder Lucana told me that he was transferring and I was so sad. We are not done! One transfer is way too short. Luckily, it was just a joke and we are together again. Elder Lucana and I are just now getting into a grove with our lessons. He is such an example to me. Every day he has so much patience with my weaknesses and is always understanding. We both have such a desire to improve ourselves.

We also had a discussion on our purpose here in the mission, our short term goals, long term goals, and the effect that obedience has on our success. Let's just say that by the end of our powerful conversation we were both in tears determined to improve. I am so ecstatic for this opportunity to learn even more from my companion this next transfer.

This zone of missionaries was my favorite ever. We all got so close and supported each other as we came together for our purpose of inviting others to come unto Christ. The missionaries that are leaving will be missed. Also my trainer is going home tomorrow, so quick shout out to him. He really helped me understand what a great missionary is and I have no doubt his life will be prosperous in every way.

One of our favorite investigators, the Dela Cruz Family, is so strong in the gospel. As sisters, they all get together every night to read the Book of Mormon. It inspires me so much since their parents are not members. Their challenge is getting money to go to church since their father does not have a job. I am sure that they will continue to progress. The importance of faith and a positive attitude can change everything!

Oh also we found a poisonous centipede in our apartment this week. I thought it was just a normal centipede so I was really casual about it at first, then Elder Lucana told me what it was... haha

Also the lock is broken on our room door and it is constantly locked. Usually the door just stays open but the wind closed it. We got locked out of our room and had to break in!
