Zone Conference

This week was really an amazing week. As I look back and contemplate my experiences everything is just HAPPY! Going on a mission is a time of change which is amazing. Change is important to become more like Christ. However at first the mission is kind of confusing because it is such an adjustment from my life previous. I now finally feel more like myself. Part of it is probably that I can actually sort of communicate with most people. As much as I want to be myself I also want to be the missionary that God wants me to be. That doesn't mean forgetting who I am, but discovering who God needs me to be. I have seen that every person has their own strengths and their own weaknesses. God has called me to be a missionary in the Quezon City North Mission in order to use the strengths that I already have to make them even better, and turn my weaknesses into strengths through our Savior Jesus Christ. I am so proud to be a part of this great work.

We had zone conferences this week and I am so blessed with amazing leaders! We have great zone leaders that really know how to inspire and are in tune with the spirit. Plus President Hughes is great! He makes a lot of analogies to mountains since he is a mountain climber which is perfect because I love climbing mountains as well. It's too bad that there are no mountains to climb here :P

I had two lessons this week that were completely opposite. One turned out very well and I really felt the spirit. The other was a disaster for me, and luckily I have a companion like Elder Buque to save me. The difference is preparation, and being in tune with the spirit. 

One funny thing is that I have been given SOO many nicknames here in the mission so far. I don't know what it is about me but I just have that kind of personality and look that people like to make nicknames. The new names for the week are Elder Cading, Elder Chicken, Elder Caballo, Elder KaBayot and Elder Cadayday. Plus I have been called Mr. Bean a million times here. I guess that it is a popular cartoon show here haha!

Anyways I am loving it here! There is no other place I want to be in the world right now. Take care everyone and have a spectacular week!
