Feedback: The Breakfast of Champions

Loving it out here in Montalban! Each missionary in this zone is so close and supportive to one another. One new change to missionary work is that now we have District Counsels instead of District Meetings. We are LOVING this change. The main difference is instead of the district leader going and givng a workshop, they lead a discussion in order to best help each missionary in the district. The thing that I love about this is that each missionary is now edified and edifies others. It has been an adjustment for the missionaries but it makes each missionary more involved in learning.

I used to think I would master missionary work in no time. Now I am realizing that I can never get too comfortable with teaching skills. I must continually improve and work on getting better in order to become a more refined instrument in the hands of God. My companion Elder Cacayuran is a great help and example to me. He lets me know how I can improve, even when it can be hard to hear. But if feedback is not hard to hear, it is not good feedback. And if you don't give feedback you don't love them. All of us want to get better. When I was first a missionary, I had a difficult time accepting feedback because it is hurt to the pride. Now I have learned that constant evaluation is the quickest way to improve.

Time is flying way to fast in the mission! Thank you for all your support!

Some other fun things, we went on a HIKE to the top of a mountain in Wawa. Ahh this place is gorgeous.

Much love,
Elder Cadayong
