Magandang buhay sa inyo lahat!

Another week has passed by and more changes are coming up. Stay tuned to the end of the email to find out.

This Satuday was the baptism of John Jay Espina. This guy is a legend. He is the first member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in his family and is a strong convert. Even though he has some rough life conditions, he is dedicated to do what God wants for him. The first week we met John Jay, he had a strong desire to learn and go to church. We had so much faith that he would follow through with his commitment. When we found out he did not come, we were pretty disappointed. When we went to check up on him, we found out that the reason he did not go to church was because he did not have any formal clothes. We told him to to worry about that and that all people are welcome in church no matter what they wear. After that his search for the truth started. Due to our teachings he was determined to change friend groups, stop cursing, and stop other harmful things that he was doing in his life. The more we got to know him, we realized that  He went to church every week in a t-shirt and pants and sincerely desired to change his life. We then realized after a couple weeks that he literally owns two shirts. For his baptism we were planning on buying him some formal clothes. When we went to his house to ask him for his size, we found out he had been saving up his money for the past month and bought the clothes himself. John jay is so dedicated to do what God wants. He wants to give his best to God. He will be a great example to his family.

His baptism was a super great experience for John Jay. I was having a difficult time during his baptism because I might have Dengue. Dangit... dengue. I am not positive yet because I will be going to the Doctors after this email. My fever is on and off but it goes from 101 to 104 which causes a huge head ache. Then every part of my bone is hurting. Today I am feeling a better than the previous days so I am getting better which makes me think it is not Dengue, but the Mission Nurse still wants me to get checked by a doctor today. Anywho we are still pushing our selves. We were still able to work a full day yesterday and go to church. Honestly I feel the strengths ever day. I think this fever is just a sign that I am just getting baptism fever. Its like Bieber fever, but like better. But don't worry mom, Dengue is just temporary. Family is forever :P

There is a bigger change in my life though that I am not too excited about. Elder Faulkner is leaving me. He is being Emergency Transferred to Camarin Zone. He has been asked to extend his mission (he was supposed to go home on October 31) but now will be going home in November in order to be an AP (Assistant to the President). Honestly I am not that surprised because he is the most intelligent and competent man I have ever met. I will miss him dearly. Honestly I would rather have dengue that have him leave.. but this is all according to Gods plan. He is going to do wonders.

Every day in the mission is a miracle. Every teaching appointment. Every person at church. Every baptism. This is truly God's work.

That is about all the time I have today! Have a great week.
